A clear and ethical commitment
The funding of the Clinic is carried out entirely on own funds outside any institutional investor (pension funds) which avoids the pressure of the search for high returns in the short term, likely to lead to over diagnosis, That is to say, the conduct of examinations and the practice of unnecessary treatments or even harmful to the patient’s health with the sole aim of rapidly increasing the financial gains of the clinic.
On the contrary, at the Tangier Cardiovascular Institute all the profits and reinvests in quality care and equipment upgrades.
Investment decisions are made solely for the well-being of patients and not for financial returns.
